IT support and development is central to our business in terms of allowing our analysts to undertake their work efficiently and in striving to improve the delivery of our analysis and data to clients.
About the job - Microsoft SQL Developer
You will be an additional member to our London IT team of 6. The team provide all services within PMA covering web programming, system administration, desktop and client support as well as SQL administration and programming.
Due to internal restructuring we are looking for a Microsoft SQL Developer. You will be designing, developing and maintaining complex queries, stored procedures, tables, triggers and reports. Supporting end users with day to day enquiries and resolving issues as and when required. Using Access and Excel to implement front end solutions, you will also get involved in developing SSIS packages, SSRS reports and SSAS cubes. You will be working alongside end users and the IT team to identify needs and the opportunities for improved data management.
You will be expected to cover some aspects of the other team members' roles and we operate a flexible shift pattern during normal weekday hours (8am-6pm) although you will be expected to cover any emergencies outside of these hours.

- PComplex T-SQL / Stored Procedures (MS SQL Server 2016+)
- We will expect flexibility and adaptability coupled with good communication and problem solving skills
Desirable Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar environment
- Degree and/or Diploma in Computing or related discipline
- SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MS Access (with VBA)
- Backups, Log shipping and Availability Groups
