Your personal attributes

  • An interest and knowledge in commercial property: you will have an interest in property markets, along with broader macroeconomic and social trends.
  • Analytical: you will draw on excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have an eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated: you will work independently from an early stage, requiring self-motivation and excellent organisation skills.
  • Computing skills: you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A knowledge of database and mapping packages is also desirable.
  • Well-rounded: you will be degree educated with a strong academic record.

Asia-Pacific Research Analysts

We are seeking to recruit two to three individuals for our Asia-Pacific team, focusing on the Australian and Mainland China property markets. The role specifications are as follows:

Position: Senior Research Analyst/Associate, Australia

  • Researching, analysing, reporting and presenting on the Australian commercial (office, retail & logistics) property markets;
  • Undertaking primary and secondary research through visiting cities and meeting local contacts;
  • Providing direct research enquiry support to our clients on an ad hoc basis;
  • Helping to develop additional Australian services;
  • 3+ years experience of researching the Australian property market is required.

Position: Research Analyst, Australia

  • Providing research support on the Australian commercial (office, retail & logistics) property markets;
  • Undertaking primary and secondary research through visiting cities and meeting local contacts;
  • Providing direct research enquiry support to our clients on an ad hoc basis;
  • Providing direct support to the Associates and Partners managing this country research;
  • Some experience (1-2+ years) is preferred but not essential.

Position: Research Analyst, Mainland China focus

  • Providing research support on the Mainland China and wider-APAC commercial (office, retail & logistics) property markets;
  • Undertaking primary and secondary research through visiting cities and meeting local contacts;
  • Providing direct research enquiry support to our clients on an ad hoc basis;
  • Providing direct support to the Associates and Partners managing Chinese country research;
  • Some experience (1-2+ years) is preferred but not essential;
  • Fluent Mandarin & English is essential.

Position: Graduate Research Analyst, UK

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking and analytical individual to join our UK focused team at a graduate level. The role will entail:
  • Working as a key part of our UK team in the production of detailed town and city-based research reports;
  • Undertaking primary and secondary research through visiting cities and meeting local contacts. This will help you develop in-depth knowledge of individual local markets, as well as an understanding of key national property market trends;
  • Providing direct research support to our clients on an ad hoc basis;
  • Taking an active role in the ongoing development of our UK services in terms of report format, data analysis and data delivery to clients;
  • No experience is necessary but you will be degree educated with a strong academic record. A rounded individual with a property interest is more important than the course studied - we employ graduates from a wide range of degrees across humanities and sciences.

Position: Research Analyst, US

We are seeking to recruit a goal-oriented, focused and analytical individual to join our US team, working with the Head of the US Service. There is capacity for more responsibility within this role, depending on the potential candidate. At present, the role will entail:
  • Assisting with data reporting, analysis and external presentations, with a primary focus on the US logistics sector;
  • Developing specialist expertise in the multifamily/apartment sector. Including, helping to develop and expand PMA’s nascent US multifamily service through data collation, analysis and forecast production;
  • Undertaking primary and secondary research through visiting US cities and developing local real estate contacts;
  • Providing direct research enquiry support to our clients on an ad hoc basis;
  • Relevant real estate experience (1-2+ years) is preferred.
