Ian worked at PMA in 1988 while researching his retail property related doctorate, and re-joined full-time in 1991 to develop PMA’s UK retail services and build up the firm's comprehensive retail databases, alongside Lorna Fraser. Ian has since taken on responsibility for PMA’s Asia-Pacific analysis, with a special focus on the firm's retail coverage in the region which he developed from 2007.
