Our People
PMA’s success is built upon the skills, enthusiasm and individual personalities of our
tight knit team of around 70 analysts, IT specialists and support staff, who work from
our offices in London, Germany and Japan.
Whilst we value hard work, we have an informal culture and pride ourselves on being a
flexible and diverse company.
We usually hire up to four graduates a year to work in our UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, US
or Investment teams. We look for graduates who are enthusiastic and hardworking, with an
analytical mind. Despite being a property research consultancy, an interest in understanding
how people, places and economies interact is more important than having a property-related
degree. All our analysts come from a variety of backgrounds and degree disciplines, therefore
every analyst brings their own unique skills to our team.
We do not offer a formal graduate scheme, however all staff work closely with PMA’s
leadership team, giving new recruits responsibility early on. You can find out a little

Meet the Team
Dr Mengmeng Dou, Analyst: China.
After graduating and working as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Ulster, I joined PMA in 2021 as an analyst covering the China commercial property sectors. My role involves providing research support on occupier market trends, undertaking primary and secondary data analysis, meeting local contacts and offering support for our clients' enquiries. Since joining, I have been working with and learning from the APAC team, getting exposure to an extended portfolio of clients. PMA’s professional and supportive work environment has given me the opportunity to gain immediate hands-on experience and form a better understanding of commercial property markets around the world. I enjoy the diverse culture at PMA as well as the career development opportunities which have helped me build skills and knowledge at the forefront of the real estate research field.
Tom Nash, Analyst: US.
After studying Economics at Newcastle University, I joined PMA in 2022 as an analyst within the US team. My role entails writing reports on various markets across the US, conducting secondary research contributing to PMA’s forecasts, whilst also working with the team on client deliverables. In this position I also have the opportunity to travel to our US markets to undertake critical primary site research and meet with local market participants. A supportive team environment has enabled me to utilise and further develop the skills established during my degree. PMA provide ample training, allowing me to form a better understanding of the commercial property sector, whilst also facilitating my professional development.
Louise Phillips, Associate: UK.
In 2017 I joined PMA as a UK analyst after studying Geography at the University of Leeds. Initially as part of my role I visited cities across the UK, writing reports on the office and industrial markets. Since 2020, I have been managing the day to day running of the office & industrial PROMIS team. My role involves continually improving the service, training and recruiting graduates, and presenting service demonstrations to our clients and prospective clients. Since joining PMA, I have utilised the skills I developed during my degree, and I have also formed a better understanding of commercial property. PMA has provided me with opportunity to grow professionally and develop my own skill set.
Joe Elliott, Associate: Europe.
I joined PMA in 2016, after studying History at the University of Sheffield. I originally joined as an Investment Analyst, assisting the team by gathering data, compiling client surveys and writing reports on various markets and sectors. Over the last couple of years, I have helped launch PMA’s new Apartments forecasting service covering the UK and continental Europe. Since joining PMA I have completed the CFA Investment Management Certificate and have attended meetings, talks and conferences on a number of topics on behalf of PMA.
Ester Conde, Senior Analyst: Europe.
I joined PMA in 2015 as an intern covering Iberia while studying; my responsibilities ranged from gathering office and retail data as well as assisting with client reports and enquiries. In 2017, after completing my master’s degree at UIC Barcelona in Business Management and Production Systems, I joined PMA full-time as an analyst. While I continue to cover Iberia, my responsibilities have expanded to include other European countries, Italy, Belgium and, more recently, to the European hotel sector. I really enjoy the informal and diverse culture of PMA and the career development opportunities. Since joining PMA, I have completed a number of courses to develop my skills further.
